Would I say "sono innamorato di italia"?

In the US when we sign off on a letter we add "XOXOXO" (hugs and kisses - or that could be kisses and hugs.). How would I indicate that in Italian?

grazie mille.

You'd say:
sono innamorata dell'Italia
For sending kisses we also use xxx, at least my generation did when we were teens!
you can also send abbracci or baci e abbracci just before you sign
Prego!

Thanks, Giulia. I don't think I will ever, ever get the preposizioni articolate through my thick skull!

I suppose that it's also difficoult to think about Italy as "L'Italia", with the article...
Also remember that the participio passato follows the gender of the person when you use the ausiliare essere! Wink Grin (ho fatto vs. sono andata)

Giulia, I think that's what throws me off. It's times like this that I think we should all be rooting for Esperanto!
