I am looking for resources that offer reading opportunities in Italian, but also have the English translation. I think this would really help my learning. Gracie mille.

You may want to try Acquerello-Italiano (www.acquerello-italiano.com) These are mini magazines with contemporary articles about Italy. It does not provide a complete English translation, but does provide enough translation and explanation so that it is easy to understand the articles. It's also a great way to become familiar with contemporary idioms. It also comes with an audio CD so you can hear the Italian as well as read it. They publish about six times a year. We have a subscription and really look forward to receiving it.
