I have the Rosetta Stone Italian 1 and have used it a bit, but not that much. It seems there are a lot of settings and options for using it.

I thought I'd ask if anyone has any tips or suggestions on how to use it since the instructions that came with it are pretty much technical or clinical in nature. They don't really say 'do this, then this, then this, then move on to the next lesson.' I have contacted them as well, but they have not been helpful (after three weeks of waiting for a response).

I don't know if this will help, but Rosetta Stone has been mentioned many times in this forum. Here's a thread which discusses the system a bit. Perhaps it'll have some info for you. Here's another that is more of a general discussion about learning conversational Italian. You could also use the Find function to search other threads in which Rosetta Stone has been discussed. Although I'm not sure if any of them will answer your specific question. Good luck.
