For the past two weeks RAI televideo has been showing stories about Principe Vittorio Emanuele. The reporting has been too fast for me to really decipher. I've searched RAI online and couldn't come up with any recent stories. Could someone fill me in on the story?

The son of the former Italian king Umberto II (he is not a prince since the Italian Constitution abolished all such titles) has been caught directing a racket that involved illegal gambling and prostitution, and was therefore jailed. Mr Vittorio Emanuele di Savoia was already spared jail about 40 years ago, when he shot dead a tourist at Isola di Cavallo.
