Apparently the Mutschechner family was heavily influenced by "formal italian writing habits" inspite of their surname....
By the way... I'd also write something slightly similar to my English speaking guests when confirming a reservation (in English...) am I being too Italian? ... or too Brit?

Not to denigrate the Mutschlechner family's modesty, but I think it may actually be a "rifugio," as in a mountain accommodation for hikers. I'm sure they're a lovely family, though.

Yes, knowing Robert's enthusiasm for choosing challenging walks, I wouldn't be at all surprised to hear that the Fam Mutschlechner is ensconced half way up a mountainside...

A lot of people in northern Italy -and this should be very north. are of german or austrian origin, and are bi lingual.
