I just tried to attach a photo to a post on the France board and it came out teeny-tiny, so I went back to try to fix it (couldn't) and then to delete it. I got a message that I didn't have permission to edit or delete my own posts. I checked the Permissions info on My Space, and that line wasn't checked, though I definitely am able to edit (change) a post.
What's the deal on being able to delete a post? Why couldn't I delete that little picture? Oh, and I might as well ask this too-why did the picture turn out so tiny? (Can you delete it for me if I can't?! On the thread about Food for Thought - Tourism in the Luberon.)
The photo should upload at the same size you have it on your computer - are you sure you were not uploading the thumbnail? Try it again.
We recently changed the edit/delete features. You cannot delete a post (but this is a bug and should be fixed soon) - instead do the alert and we will delete it. You can edit a post for 60 minutes. After that it cannot be edited.
Thanks Pauline. I was able to load another photo, and then tried my original photo again. Still small, but not teeny. (Maybe the portrait orientation results in a smaller photo?)
I tried to go into a previous post of mine to add dates of spring travel and found out that I don't have permission to edit/delete my posts. Why? Can anyone help?
After 60 minutes, if you want changes to a post or want to delete it, just click the little alert icon (exclamation point in a yellow triangle) on the message and a moderator will take care of it for you.
