Has something changed with the running of the board, in that alerts are no longer being responded to? Nor is a message to the specific board's moderator. Or perhaps it's only certain alerts or from certain members? Perhaps I missed an announcement that we can no longer alert to have inadvertent information, or a mistake, removed from our posts if we request because we missed the 60 minute deadline?
Thank you for any information anyone can give.

I'm sorry Maria. We missed this alert. I just took care of this for you.
If I didn't get it right, can you do the alert on this post? There is a bug in the board software were we only get notified of the first alert. That is why we missed you other two alerts. (Grumble.. grumble... I hate software bugs.)
Maria, it might also be good practice to re-read your posts once they're published for accuracy. Becuase a Mod may not be around or may be working on other matters, remember that you have that 60-minute window where you can edit your own posts.
Kim, thanks for the tip. In 6 years I think I've asked for modification after the 60 minutes maybe once, or a maximum of twice. My post was accurate, but I included something I felt should not have been, but it didn't occur to me until later (about 15 minutes after the window).
Scolding noted. I'll never do it again.
And by the way, I watched mods come and go all night while I waited for the alert to be answered, which is why I asked if the alert was not working. I think my question was a valid one.
My question was answered by Marta and everything was already taken care of.
I never said it's an invalid question but while you may see mods coming and going, it's possible they were working on other things, or it may be on a forum for which they do not have primary responsibility, so they may leave it for the moderator responsible for that forum, which is why if it's important that the post be accurate, I suggest to everyone to re-read the post right after posting it. This way the poster still has time to perform any important edits. Moderators will edit posts for users but there's no guarantee it will happen immediately.
