Yup. It's an interesting topic. I'm going to begin one that can serve as a resource to travelers.

Gloria, the thread, as you probably know, had degenerated and contrary to being merciless, we are quite sensitive to the mood/atmosphere of the board and felt the drift of that thread hurt that atmosphere. As Amy said, we're replacing it with a discussion that as Gio pointed out, will be beneficial to members, one that focuses on the Italian names of locations versus their Anglicized names similar to this discussion. Feel free to participate in that discussion but everyone should remember these guidelines (page down) that Amy wrote many years ago.
