I renewed my membership yesterday with Grouppe and tried to send a PM today. The message I get is that my membership expired. What's up?

Hi Gloria! Thanks for renewing your membership. I looked up the transaction and it says "pending" - I don't know what that means, so I put a support ticket into Groupee to get this resolved.

"pending" usually means they haven't charged your credit card yet.

It all went thru this morning - they said for new memberships they only do them once per day, but Gloria was renewing - so I am not sure what happened.

The title under your member name, e.g. "Traveler", depends on your number of posts. You get a star after 100 posts!! We do not display anything that shows that you are a premium member - but thanks for contributing!!

Here are the levels based on posts:
1 - 9: New Member
10 - 99: Traveler
100 - 500: Slow Traveler
500+: You get a star
1000+: A second star

It means you are a Premium member (you have paid for a membership on the message board), so you have access to Private Messages, email digests and posting photos on Slow Trips (soon to become Slow Photos - and it was opened up to everyone for the contest, but is about to be set back to premium members only).
