Hi! I am trying to finish all of my restaurant reviews from my recent trip, and when I fill out the details form, I don't see a field to enter a subregion. I am only offered the main region pull-down menu after the country choice. Is it me or my browser? (I use Firefox, or Safari) I notice that in the pending list, you are adding my subregion for me....

Thanks!!

Hello Stella. No, for once it's not a browser issue (says he, also on Firefox, and sometimes having compliance problems Frown) - the subregion is something that we mods (mostly Maureen, since she's the Big Chief of restaurant reviews) add when we prepare the reviews for publication.

BTW, I've just got round this morning to reading your trip report: really nice! Thanks for posting it.

Aha! Thank you, Jonathan. Once again, the moderators are behind the scenes, tweaking and refining....

Are you perhaps a Mac user too? Or, you just like Firefox for the cool logo of earth swept up in a ring of fire? Which, now that I think of it, is a bit disturbing...

Oh, thank you so much for reading my report (on churches and naps)!

Well, I think of it as a fiery, Microsoft-engulfing fox, so it doesn't seem too bad! But I am typing this on a Windows PC, so I'm really under Gates' thrall...

Since I last posted, I've finished reading your report, and am enthusing even more! Like you, I can stand in front of those Caravaggios in S L Francese for a whole morning - and your remarks on the the Bargello & Donatello's sexy David are just what I would have written Smile All that, and inspiration to try roasting a whole Orata next time I'm in a place with an oven - lots more than chrches & naps!

Hi Stella,
I'm taking care of restaurant reviews while Maureen is away ... A big thank you! for noting the Florence districts in your reviews. Not Worthy

It makes editing much quicker if we don't have to search around and try to figure out the correct district or region. (Your reviews are nicely done, by the way!)
