Currently there is a bug which allows you to edit your post for 60 minutes but NOT delete it. If you want a post deleted, do one of the following:

- edit the post but leave a note saying "moderator, please delete"

- edit the post to remove the content and click the alert button and ask the mods to delete the post

This will be fixed in the next release of the software.

Chris just pointed out that if you don't send us an alert, we may never notice the post that needs to be deleted. So it is best to edit it to say "mod please delete" AND send an alert (which is very easy to do - click that triangle icon at the lower right of the post and write a brief message).
