Because the "Conversion to Slow Trav" thread is kept at the top of several forums, it's now hard to take a quick look and see if anything is new without actually opening the forum.

I'm used to (ok, addicted to ) taking a quick look from the main page to the top of the Italy and Everything Else forums, and now they always have the same thread on top.

Marian, did you know that under the Find menu, there's a link "New since your last visit" which will list all of the new posts? I just discovered this recently...its a big time saver! (But yes, its one extra click! :-)

Yes, Janet, thanks, and for a while I was doing that. But then that extra click seemed too much trouble (sloth is my favorite of the sudden deadly ).

At any rate, apparently that thread is not actually pinned to the top of the thread; it was just the most active for a while. So the "problem" has solved itself.

And in a bit of synergy: In my message above, I meant to say "seven deadly", not "sudden deadly" but due to change in rules (see thread above ) I can no longer do that. But probably my reference was clear.
