Yesterday I was searching for topics to do with taking prescription meds and supplements on the airplane in carry on luggage. I searched for several words like: pills, supplements, prescription, carryon luggage. I tried the regular search and the advanced search and each time I got a message that no matches were found.

Then today I typed in "Foxfire" in the regular search and got 2 responses. Then I typed "Foxfire" in the advanced search and I got the same message that no matches were found even though 10 seconds earlier it found two.

Earline, I'm not having a problem. Did you search for all those words at once? Or individually? Also, did you uncheck the option to "search current forum only?"

Kim, I tried a variety of things:

With all the words: pills supplements airlines
With the exact phrase: pills in carry on
(also) pills in carryon luggage
With at least one of the words: pills
(also) prescriptions pills

I searched in Everything About Travel and then All Forums. I don't see where I can uncheck the option to "search current forum only."

Okay - so you're always using advanced search? I'm going to play with this in the morning and see if I can duplicate the issue so that we can report it to groupee.

Earline, it seemed to work for me. For example for the last option: With at least one of the words prescription pills, I hit all these threads. I think that with search, less is more and would recommend staying away from that "exact phrase" option.
