I'm pleased as punch that I just had the honor of taking the photo gallery past the 12,000 mark. Furthermore, I also posted a much-previewed Parisian trip report. However just when I thought my work here was done, I realized that I'm gonna have to come up with a decent joke in a few posts to celebrate my official entry into Slow Traveldom.

This never ends, does it?

12,000!!! It was just 5,000 last summer at the end of the contest. Wow!!

It never ends. Have you done your vacation rental, hotel and restaurant reviews? When you are all caught up, it is usually time for another trip - and then it all starts again.

I am working on my trip report from May of this year - and from the last two years too!! And I have a few hotel reviews to do.

SlowTrips is on super cheap webhosting with HostRocket. I pay $15 a month and I think we still have lots of room for more photos - but I will go have a look at our stats just to be sure. I love all those photos!! Thanks!!

I've done a vacation rental review for our Paris apartment, but since I talk about all the restaurants we went to in my trip report (currently in the queue), I figured that separate restaurant reviews would be overkill. Is that right, or do you encourage people to do separate restaurant reviews anyway so they can be found easily in the restaurant review section?

Exactly right, Daniel! So yes, some reviews of your experiences would be fabulous.
