I have lost the ability to edit/delete my own posts - permission is not checked off.

I have a habit of editing my posts to correct typos/miscues. Could that be the reason?

Me, too. See my post just two minutes before yours. Must be some temporary glitch, I hope.
(Or, could it be that we can only edit within a certain number of days after posting? I don't normally edit anything more than a few days old, but maybe this recipe post was from a little more than a few days ago.)

Yep, same here. Just tried on the Everything Else forum and couldn't.

I made a change to the board this morning. You can now edit your post for 60 minutes after you post; after that it can no longer be edited.
