A couple of members have posted reviews of an apartment I am planning on renting in Rome. Is there any way to contact the reviewer directly? I have a couple of questions I would like to ask them before I put a deposit down on the apartment.

Thanks, Kathi

P.S. Is there a spell check feature for checking messages before we post them?

Hi Kathi,
There are a couple ways to do this:
1) Post your questions in the thread with the review
2) Search for the reviewer's name on the message board, click on their profile to see if they have an email address listed

No spell check feature ... yet!
We keep hearing it will be in 'the next release' ...

Hi Colleen,

Thanks for your reply. I had previously searched for the reviewers' names in the message board but couldn't find them. Please excuse my lack of computer knowledge but how do I post my question in the thread with the vacation rental review? I looked at the review to try to figure out how to do that but couldn't find anything to click on in the review that would let me post a question. (The review is not in the message board area but is posted on the vacation rental review site.)

Thanks! Kathi

Kathi -
Sorry, I didn't think about reviews on SlowTrav.com that might not be in "active" threads on the message board. (When Pauline posts a review on SlowTrav she also posts a link on the SlowTalk message board - that's the thread I was referring to in suggestion #1.)

So ... your best bet is probably to start a new topic on the message board with a link to the vacation rental review. Title your post something like "Looking for additional info on xxx". There's a good chance the reviewer(s) will see it on the message board and respond.
Good luck!
