I agree with the rule against having political discussion on the boards, but does it give a conflicting signal when there are political ads in top and bottom banners? I realize that this is a matter with Internet Brands rather than the moderators, and I believe this is a Google ad, but can there be restrictions on what type of ads appear?

Here is the response, as of May 2nd:

There’s nothing that we can do about this one imminently. Eventually, we’ll be moving our Google ads to a different API, which will solve this particular issue.

I noticed that one too, Andrew. My immediate first reaction was:
"Who did the demographic research on us to determine that we were the target audience?"
