Jil, sending a PM is a perk of getting a Gold Star Membership as a way to support the site. Gold Star members can PM anyone, (the message arrives via their e-mail)but you need to be a GS member to send one back through the site. To contact people, see the help pages, here.

I'm not sure if it needs saying that Amy has spam-proofed her address so that the way it appears is not directly clickable into an e-mail. You need to interpret it, changing "at" to the @ sign and adding .com after the well-known domain. I hadn't looked into what was allowed in putting an address in the profile; I've just put in instructions on e-mailing me rather my address.

I don't see a post I posted and wonder if I broke a rule that I did not realize? if not where did my post go...it was on the spread sheet in rome thread ...asking about getting emails from kayak...I noticed that a few of those posts were removed...

If I broke a rule which one was it...sorry if I did...JilM

Also, Jil, to follow up, remember we went through an upgrade (last Tuesday I believe), so it's possible a post was "lost" here or there if it occurred during then. I know one was identified and re-posted.

I am so sorry between falling and really spraining my ankle so that it looks like a sausage to being able to return emails because the world sees me as spam I got rattled...I am sorry I took up so much of your time but appreciate you both from clearing it up...

thanks I did I happen to live in a building who has a foot doctor's office right next to me...of course he would say stay off of it for a week and ice it....soooooo I am doing what he says and hopfully it will be operational by the time I go to Southern Italy next month
