I have wanted to be part of the Photo Hunt so bad! Everytime I have tried to resize the photos on my IMac, I have had problems. Can someone who has the same system let me know how they did it?

Sandy, I have a MacBook with IPhotos. I open which photo I want, then up at the top click on FILE, then EXPORT. "Kind" I switch it to JPEG,
JPEG quality I choose High, then under SIZE I arrow to CUSTOM and for MAX dimension I type in 550 px, then click on EXPORT it will ask you to "save as" I give the file/photo a name and then it asks "where" to save and I choose Documents.

then, when I want to post a photo I pick it from my Documents list.

If you are using leopard, you can also resize in the preview mode - drag a photo to the desktop or a folder, click on the photo and it should open in preview mode, go to the tools drop down and then choose adjust size.
