I cannot seem to manage to include a partial quote in a reply, is there a way of doing this easily?

There are three ways. You can highlight the area you want to quote then click REPLY and that quote will show up in the posting window. Another choice, click the quote icon in the posting window and the copy in the part you want to quote. The third way I find the easier. I click quote in the post I want to quote then delete the extra wording. All that you have to make sure is that you have the opening quote code [ quote ] and the closing quote code [ / quote ] (note I added spaces in both otherwise it would activate the code but once you click on quote or the quote icon, you wil see how it is supposed to be)

Quotes are very easily messed up. I fix quotes for people every day. The key thing is to look at your post after to be sure it looks good. People frequently delete part of the QUOTE tag and that messes it up.

Just an fyi - you can type your response immediately after the closing bracket ( ] ) of the [ /quote ], because the message board software automatically includes a paragraph break.

When my reply includes a quote, the reply window looks like this: [ quote ]Text quoted.[ /quote ]My reply.

(Without the spaces in "quote" - as Cristina noted above.)
