How is the location noted in the profile? I see that others have it, but not me, and when I check My Profile to edit/add, it's not even there as an option.

Hazel, The fields you haven't filled in are not displayed. But you can change all the fields by clicking the edit link. When you go to your profile, look in the upper right corner. You should see a link that says View/Edit Complete Profile. That will allow you to update all the fields in your profile including location. You may have to scroll down to see all fields.

To access your profile page, Click Go > My Space > Profile.

That's exactly what I did, Marta, but Location is not there, filled in or not

Strange. I've logged out of my normal account and into a testing account just to verify that it is not a rights issue. I can definitely find and edit my location field. It is way down at the bottom of the page, the second field from the last, right before the field "What vacation rental reviews have you written?:". Did you scroll all the way to the bottom of the page?

I took a look at Hazel's profile, too, to see if I could figure it out. I filled in "California" as the location, then hit the "Submit" button at the bottom of the page.

The profile updated immediately, but it took a few minutes for the location box to fill in on Hazel's posts on the board. It's odd that Hazel couldn't see the blank location box on her profile settings, though...

I feel like such a doofus. I just figured out why I can't see the rest of the profile, past my last name under the Private Profile Fields - I was scrolling down using the scroll bar and it didn't go any further than that, but after I read the follow-up posts, I tried it again, clicking on the profile field itself and using the down arrow to scroll down, lo & behold, the other fields appeared. Thanks for your help with such a dumb question.

Don't blame yourself - whoever designed that screen is the doofus! That screen drives me crazy - people frequently don't see that scroll bar on the box. Sometimes I forget about it too! And don't get me started about where they put the link to edit your profile!!
