Is there a way I could change my username for SlowTalk, and, if so, would it be retroactive - i.e., applied to all past posts? The one I use (paceaj) is SO boring!
Yes, and yes! Go to those buttons at the top of the page: Go>Personal Zone>Profile>View/Edit Complete Profile - and then type in your preferred boardname. Don't forget to press the Submit button at the end.

Apparently it always takes a bit of time for the databases to catch up with changes like this, so don't be worried if you see some posts bearing your old name and some with the new - it will automatically sort itself out soon!
I wonder if the clue to your new name can be found in the Interests section of your profile?

Hi Ann - Would you please take a minute to post about your new name in the Introduce Yourself forum? That will help ST members recognize you as the former paceaj. Thanks!

I most likely have an idea, or two..maybe(???) about your new name but since I live in the area I will keep it to myself for a little bit. I like your choice by the way. A good one for the area we are fortunate enough to live in.

Another correct answer, Jan, so here's another . See the post I am about to make on the Introduce Yourself forum, following Colleen's suggestion.
And Diana wrote: "Anne, I first thought of Appelallee between Mainz and Wiesbaden." Neither my husband nor I can recall an "Appelallee," Diana, but it's been nearly 40 years since we lived there. Is it a place or a street, as I just found some addresses on an Appelallee in Wiesbaden when I Googled it?
I think it's a street, there is a big sign and an ausfahrt for it on the bridge between the two cities! we'll be there in two weeks, maybe I will look....
Well, Diana, speaking of the bridge between the two cities, there used to be a great Indonesian restaurant in Mainz Kastel, right near the river. However, that was long, long ago, and it's probably not there now. (This should be my last comment on this subject on this forum, as I guess it's really out of place here.)
