I have just nioticed the little grey <> tabs near the Google ads at the top and the sidebar.

Are these new or have I just been blind to them?

They've been there for a while - several weeks, at least. They're navigation bars to flip through the Google ads. I think they're weird! Why would I want to see *more* ads? Confused

If you use Firefox, there is Adblock Plus, an easy free add-on that will get rid of all the google ads (and most others) to give you a nice clean page.
