It still seems not possible to delete a post. Is Groupee unable to solve this problem? Or, am I overlooking something? I just tried to delete a post within seconds of having written it--as I had hit the quote button rather than the edit button and so it was a redundant post. Charisse--can you prompt Groupee to address this issue?
Jane, I'm sending an alert on this one so Charisse will see it. Groupee has known about this issue for a while and said they'll fix it in their next major release; unfortunately, it does not appear that there's any new release on the horizon.
In the interim, I would just continue to do as we've always done, hit the alert, and one of the mods will go and delete it.
I have contacted Groupee again for an update on this, but as Kim has advised, this might be low on their priority list (or not even on there at all!) I'll let you know what they say.
Charisse--thanks! And while you're at it.....it would be so nice to have the bold and italics options as they are on most interactive sites (google, AOL, etc) so that you can bold/italicize directly from your typing rather than the current process which really makes these functions difficult to use. Or have I never figured out the process correctly? Quite possible!
After reviewing this with the mods, it looks like we have the ability to allow this for our members, however the bug that needed to be fixed was the timeframe/limit with which members can do this. This was the update we were waiting for which is inoperative at this time. Until Groupee fixes this, the delete function will not be available to our members.
