well how can i get my photos as attachements as they always seems to come back too big?

also ;I like to post my google map; how can this be done?

and to have photo albums on the site? if this is a premium membership: what is the cost and how to pay ?

I just checked our email (it is photos@slowtrav.com ) and found your email on the server. Marta may have answered you and it got caught in your SPAM filter, or she may have missed the email - we just set up this new email address for slowphoto questions. She is on her way to Australia today.

It is best to post in this forum with these types of questions. That is what this forum is for.

1. To post photos on the message board as attachments, set them to 72ppi resolution (this is the resolution that works best on monitors) and not wider than 500 pixels (otherwise it makes the board too wide for smaller monitors). We have a restriction on file size - not larger than 100kb.

Go into the TESTING forum to practice. Do some posts with photos and see how they look.

2. Email me if you want to create a Google Map through our system. Tell me which country or area you want to map and I will set up an account. pauline @ slowtrav.com

These are the maps we currently have:

3. Photo albums are kept on www.slowphotos.com and are only available for premium members. Take out a premium membership at this link:
http://slowtalk.com/membership.htm (or click Premium Membership in the header on the message board). When you are a premium member a small green star appears to the right of your name on the message board. You can then do private messaging. Once this has gone thru, email me (usually you email Marta, but she is away) and I will turn on your slowphotos membership.

The cost is $25 per year.

1) i will try to learn the gimmicks of reducing photos; my file size is bigger than 100kb always!

2) the area is the Versailles-Saint Germain-en-Laye-my town areas of France

3) ok have plenty of travel photo albums from all over the 49 countries i have been for business and/or pleasure so will get you the membership on monday and keep you posted.

Pedro, you have the little green star to the right of your name, so your membership is processed. Now go to www.slowphotos.com and register (different registration from the message board and our reviews registration). Once you have done that, I will set your membership there so you can upload.

Warning: Slowphotos is going to be down for a day or two this week. We are moving all our sites (except the message board) to a dedicated server. SlowTrav will not move until mid-October, but SlowPhotos moves this week.

Before the move, I will close SlowPhotos, so you will not be able to upload. Then we copy 2gb of photos to the new server, then test, then when all is working, I turn it on again. During this time people will be able to view photos, but not upload any.
