We are flying home a week from Monday. We will fly from Marseille to Paris, Paris to Atlanta, and then Atlanta back to Knoxville.
We bought Charley and Kelly's tickets, and they are ticketed through Delta.
I used Delta Frequent Flyer points for my ticket. However, I was not able to use FF on the first leg from Marseille to Paris since that is an Air France flight. I bought an Air France ticket for that one segment, inexpensively because I bought a round trip ticket.
Now I'm starting to worry about the logistics. We each have just one checked bag, so I thought I would have Charley or Kelly check my bag through to Atlanta since I actually have two separate tickets.
But what happens when I get to Paris? Will I need to go out into the main CDG terminal to check in on my Delta flights?
Kathy, Could you call Air France at Marseille airport to get the info from them? I believe that Air France and Delta are partners, so I would hope that perhaps they could ticket you (and check your luggage) all the way through. I sincerely hope they can, because checkin at CDG can be very tedious. It took me two hours (with Air France) the last time I was there, just two weeks ago. Then again, if you are a "premium" frequent flyer, you may be able to avoid the longest lines. Good luck!
