My wife and I have travlled a bit over the years and most of the time we have travelled only with our debit and credit card and we have trusted that it would be possible to get cash as we arrived. This has worked pretty much everywhere...we have been to places like South Africa, Japan, China, Maldives, Malaysia, Dubai etc. Yes, there has been a couple of times where it has not been wasy to get cash (we had a bit of problem one night in Tokyo ). Here is Norway we are getting used to using the card to pay everywhere but a new report shows that Norwegians are not realy comfortable with using the card when they travel. The result is that cash is still being used quite a lot and when people get their wallets stolen a lot of cash disappears. I hope that many Norwegians saw this news story and that people will start using a debit card instead when they travel.
