Just for fun, here's possible food for thought for anyone contemplating destinations.

Thanks!

Interesting article, Bucky. Who woulda thunk that NYC would top the list? Maybe that's one of the reasons people who love the city love it so much.

On a tangent, I wonder how NYC drivers would rate on the courtesy scale Roll Eyes . I know that Philadelphia drivers are among the rudest I've ever encountered!

On our last trip to NYC, my husband and I were shocked at the friendly nature of the people. We stopped to look at our map several times and were asked if we needed help finding our destination. One man sitting in a cafe said in a very thick NY accent "by the way, welcome to NY". We encounters several police officers making their rounds who were equally friendly.

I have been told that 911 has forever changed the attitude of NYC. The aftermath was devastating for the city in more ways than one. They are incredible people who have shown their true grit and dignity. It is a world class city with a very big heart.
