Hi

I have heard about shark cage diving....but now it seems like you can also get a close to Crocs in a cage Eek This can be done in this place in South Africa: http://www.cango.co.za/index.htm . I like a bit of excitement but I'm not sure I would have been up to this:

In 2003 my husband and I moved to Louisiana for 6 months before we took off traveling full time around the US.

While there, I encouraged him to try new jobs he would really enjoy, and take a break from the medical field. At one point he considered tagging alligators for the state of Louisiana. Talk about high risk and low pay! Eek And NO experience necessary!

While I supported him working for Academy Sports, selling everything from guns to rods and reels, and also desk clerk at a major hotel chain, I absolutely forbid him to tag alligators!

On a day trip to Lake Fausse State Park, many alligators were sunning themselves on logs, and believe me, they were camouflaged on those logs. They were hard to recognize. I can't imagine my husband out there in the swamps and bayous trying to tag an alligator (and without a cage like in your picture!) I knew they would get him first, because he wouldn't see them right next to him.

Correct me if I'm wrong here, but that gator cage... doesn't look incredibly "cagey" to me. I could still see someone losing a few fingers... or an arm... Red Face
