And, if I may add, don't leave home without LOOKING at your passport. If you have more than one family member be sure and check INSIDE the passport to make sure it's yours. Blushing

On the subject of passports...is everyone aware that pretty soon (I can't remember the date) you will need a full passport to cross the borders between Canada, the USA, and Mexico?

This may cause delays in processing passport applications as the various governments are expecting a flood of new applications. If your passport is about to expire make sure you leave plenty of time for renewal!

Another point of interest... I just renewed my UK passport. It is the new biometric passport with an electronic chip embedded in the back of the data page - this page is now a very thick page almost like cardboard. Apparently the chip carries a copy of all of your details, plus your photo and signature.

Will this chip eventually be embedded into our body at birth??
