My wife bought me a suitcase for my birthday on Friday. My old suitcase (a Carlton) only lasted about 4 years and now there is a large crack in the hard shell plastic. But this time I got the real deal...A Samsonite Aeris. The thing is huge and colorful so it should be quite easy to spot it on the conveyor belt :-) So now I'm ready for a trip to Florence and Tuscany

Hi and thanks for the birthday wishes. Yes, it is a big suitcase and I was joking about it with my niece the other day...I told her that the next time we travel we can stuff her in my suitcase to save the money on her ticket...we just have to supply her with a portable game (at the moment she is hooked on playing mini golf on a cell phone) and an extra battery in case the suitcase gets lost on the way Poor girl, I hope that she didn't take it too seriously.

My husband just got a new suitcase too! Too bad it was because the airline drug it across the tarmac, split it open and lost all his undies. Good ol' US Air...never again!
