Aw shucks, you guys, thanks for the nice thoughts. Now I really do have to go and have a few adventures, or at the very least, rethink how I feel about blog reading. I do realize that writing a blog does come with certain grown up responsibilities .

Thanks Jane, but you know how non-techie I am - I'm just happy that I could follow the link to approve the comments - baby-steps, I keep saying.

What is funny, I think, about that header picture is that yesterday my daughter asked if I was sure that David took the picture, reminding me that she had used his camera for some of the Lerici shots - told her that she and her father would have to duke it out for the photo credit. I think David took it, we were doing the Easter Sunday passegiata around the Lerici harbor, it was one of our lovliest days in lovely Italy (following an awful morning of traffic when we foolishly decided to drive to Portofino, along with a zillion other people).

Ah, from the reluctant LA chick to the reluctant Pasadena chick I say happy trails indeed...

There must be something "reluctant" in our SoCa atmosphere . At the moment, I wouldn't live anywhere else, but who knows where the "trails" may take us next.
