There are so many talented and gifted photographers on Slowtrav.com, thought I'd post about World in Focus photography contests mentioned in the July/August issue of NG Traveler magazine.
Any one of the pictures from Slowphotos could win first place!
Maybe nothing exactly as it is on Slow Photos, but I do think there are several photographers who have posted photos on Slow Photos whose work is worthy of entering.

At $35.00 fee per entry, this is quite a money maker.

that's what I meant to say Marta! I agree!
(it's a $12.00 entry fee for amateur photographers).
We can have our own contest for that amount of money!
Actually...it might be fun, although I find the amount of post-production on most photos to be unfair to those that try to get the best picture as it presents itself.
