Thanks, Kathy, Ann, and Barb! This will be in the Atlanta Journal Sunday paper, and I am very pleased for the publicity for my tours.

Just a few corrections: Montisi is more of a hilltown than a mountain village, and I didn't make the comment about Italians not showing up for appointments or having an American sense of urgency about things..... Big Grin I guess the reporter was trying to write something to balance all my compliments about my beloved Italy!

Thanks for all the good wishes!

I'm going to post about a GTG for any of our ST travelers who are in the Montisi area the night of our Under The Tuscan Stars party. Each Thursday night in Montisi we host a great party for our guests, local villagers, expats in the area, and travelers we know. Fabulous food, amazing music and singing with our tour guide Pino and artist Liz, and fun for all.

I'll post the dates in the GTG section. Hope to see some of you there!

Just think of all the people you have influenced and have helped in ventures like this. Italy, France... maybe I need to start up a group traveling to Alabama. Roll Eyesor maybe not.

I'm looking forward to sharing the poolside with Jerry! I'll have vino per favore. Wine

Thanks for all the good wishes.

I have to share a story. After the article was printed, I received a phone call from a delightful Italian woman in her 70's. She told me (in lovely Italian-accented English) she had been in the U.S. for 30 years and was so happy to read a story about someone who loves her country so much. She grew up in Bologna, went to nursing school in London, and now works as a home health care nurse. She also taught Italian for many years, and was a diction coach for the Atlanta Opera Company. She said I could call her anytime and speak Italian with her Smile.

The next day she called me back and said she was coming to Roswell with a group of friends for lunch, and wanted me to join them as her guest. She lives about an hour away. I spent a wonderful afternoon with this sweet woman and her friends. We will stay in touch.

She is a perfect example of why I love Italy and the Italians so much.

Gail is once again making a debut in the public eye, as you can see hereon the home page of one of our most prominent area wineries.

I just found this this morning, Gail. I nearly fell over. Just us and the Barbera Superiore, darling.
