For a stay of about 2 months is there a place or recommendations paying approx 700 dollars/month? I'm new to how things are done overseas.

Sorry about that Roll Eyes yeah, Italy, Tuscany around there. We don't know anyone there but boy let me tell you, 95euros a night stinks. this won't be till next year in sept.

The average double room in a student apartment in the historic centre of Perugia goes for about 400E a month, if that helps.

By "double room", you mean "shared room", no? As in Perugians wedging in as many students as possible? I was fortunate to find a nice studio, but that was because a professor I knew there found it.

Usually when a room is quite large, instead of renting it out as a single for 300E per month, they'll put two beds in it and rent it out as a double for 400E per month.
