This week's photo of the week is a picture of my cat CassieChris's beautiful cat Carlos Pauline's wonderful cat Buddy. It is part of our category The Cat Pages (and dogs too!!).
I'd also like to take this time to bring our new travel service to your attention. Slow Pets has been designed for all our Slow Travel Pet lovers. Cassie helped us design the trip and gives it a high-paw. Don't leave home without us.

What! Mina just alerted me to the going ons in this thread. This is my thread and I can choose what picture I want. Your kitties don't want to mess around with Mina. She may only be 7 lbs but she is feisty and will defend her sister and turf.

I have to admit, Max has got one mean look. But he does it with that half-closed eye kind of thing like he is working a little too hard to intimidate.
Our dear departed Abelard, on the other hand, could look you straight in the eye and you would shake in your boots.

Colleen, nine beats three. And Zanni, Girly-girl, Baby, Banshee, Lil' Miss, Lil' Girl, Beautiful Girl, Rusty and Thumper are all so confident as to this fact, that they aren't even bothering to wake up for the battle.

good one Fibonacci! this reminds me of the line in Arandati Roy's God of Small Things - 'there is no such thing as a black cat, there are only cat shaped holes in the universe'. I'd post a picture of my cat shaped hole in the universe, except that he will make all the other cats jealous ;-) Hilary

When I had two, I couldn't get them to sleep together for more than a few minutes before one would pounce on the other and start the mad chases around the house.
Now my remaining kitty is 18 years old and a little arthritic. Mind you, there still can be mad chases around the house as she has Alzheimer's and sometimes not only forgets where she is, but can forget who we are, so that makes for some interesting moments.

Oh believe me, there are still mad chases all over the house. Actually, Lil' Girl, who used to be the runt, has now finally grown and she's the terrorizer -- she'll just calmly walk up to whichever is sleeping soundly and smack 'em on the head and run away, leading to a merry chase, using whatever human's body is nearby as a springboard to get a head start
And Kim had thought about adopting the dad, but said she refused to go into double digits
Maria, she has little specks of white here and there, but she's really very black.
I made the pillow on the right! I used fabric that was a gift from India (I think it was India). The pillow on the left was my father's, so now that he's gone I keep it on my bed. I gave to him as a gift and it is handmade. He was a serious cat lover as well.
