This may apply to any country so I'm posting it here. In my case it is regarding a domestic flight within Peru.

Due to a screw up I do not have the flight time I want, buying new tickets on the USA Lan site over 400 dollars each, on the Peru sire 175!

Is it ok to buy the ticket on a "foreign" website? Will it cause a problem if they see I have two tickets? RR

I don't see why it would be a problem unless you have two tickets for the same flight. Maybe there might be an issue if you were trying to get credit for the tickets you originally bought on the US site and apply it to the Peruvian site. But you aren't trying to do that, are you?

I bought air tickets from the US to Italy on the Air One web site during a brief period when they were running flights from Boston and hadn't yet opened their US site. Also, of course, a lot of European airlines don't even have US-based web sites.

I guess it would depend on the airline's policy. If you have to put in a US address, they might require you to order through the US site when they have one.

Thanks, it is not a problem anymore in the sense that my wife decided that she could deal with less sleep to save 350 dollars.

I just worry that she gets a migraine. lack of sllep is a trigger but hopefully if all goes well she gets 6 hrs in the airport hotel. RR

I have bought tickets on the Malaysian Air site. It was fine. The only issue I had was getting my credit card to approve it. Some US credit cards (such as Capital One) may block web purchases made on an international site. I had to call customer service and get them to unblock my card for a short period so I could make the purchase.
