eBags does seem to have the Eagle Creek Guide bag in stock, and the close-up picture shows a padded shoulder insert on the strap. - gedlin

Andrys, I am so happy I read your post on July 27th. I was very impressed with the pac-safe bag. I got on line and found our local REI had just one left. I bought it and have packed it with my digital SLR and extra lens, and everything else. Works perfect. I feel better already Going to Italy for the first time, and this will help me feel "a little bit " more secure. I realize we must still be very aware of our surroundings at all times. Your photos from Florence were very nice. I am so excited to the "the David". Safe travles all. Sandra

Sandra, great that you already have it! And the last one there at that. I think they are just incredibly well-made and look good too. quote: Going to Italy for the first time, and this will help me feel "a little bit " more secure. Right. Although I met two people who had their purses slashed, it'd be much harder to do that with these... But it helps to be paranoid sometimes. They told us to walk with purses away from the street side, unless wrapped around us. I envy you the experience of coming upon the original and restored 'David' soon. Have a lot of fun! - A
