Hello, Leaving Oz soon and hopefully will be slow slow travellers, this is a question with regards to insurance, since we do not have a return ticket our credit card insurance is of no use so wondering if anybody has used worldnomads as their insurer. We have used nrma in the past and never again, and for our last trip relied on the gold card but this scenario is a little different and for the most part we will be planning on the go, (for Europe and Asia) Thanks
I always use 1Cover (underwitten by Allianz) for our travel insurance. Their quotes are always cheaper than RAC and HBF.
We've also had cover with Allianz for caravan insurance and had no problems when we had an accident in Queensland. They gave us accommodation when our caravan was being repaired etc.
thanks Elly,have looked at their site, certainly seem to give more in terms of $$$ and assistance levels than world nomads, which I had thought was a good deal only because we don't have a ticket back or any real idea of when that date will be,but was a bit put off by negative comments from the LP site. It certainly is a minefield topic and all the small print certainly needs careful attention and a somewhat legalese mind,shall do some more research tomorrow, thanks again
