It's time for another Worldwide Photohunt!

Here are the guidelines: You select one of your own photos to post that in some way utilizes the topic. Use the topic as a concrete prompt, or find a novel approach. Each person, just one post/photo per thread topic, (or two if you must)please. Photos should be resized to be no wider than 600 pixels. Too-large photos slow down the loading of the thread, and will be deleted. Read about how to post a photo in a thread, here. If you have an idea for a photo hunt topic, contact one of the Mods to offer the suggestion instead of beginning another thread.

Posting photos in the thread gives your permission for SlowTrav to eventually move the photos over to Photohunt albums in the Slow Photos Galleries .

This week's prompt is "Funny."
You're encouraged to describe your photo--where you shot it, details of what you were doing or what was going on, etc.

When I went to Borough Market in London last year, I thought it very sanitary that the man making my sandwich made at the felafel stand was wearing gloves. It wasn't until I downloaded my photos after I returned home that I discovered a small problem with the gloves...

Good one Terry! My sister thought this view through her lens of myself and a fellow restaurant patron at Borgo Antico in Santo Spirito, Florence (Spring 2005) striking the same pose was amusing.

I was exploring the small and charming town of Cesky Krumlov in the Czech Republic when I saw this visual while passing by one of the restaurants. It was too funny not to take a quick photo of it. Big Grin

There were numerous street entertainers in the San Telmo area of Buenos Aires on a Sunday morning; this gentleman with his well endowed dance "partner" was a real showman!

Maybe my contributions is not hilarious in the sense that Terry's was (that was a real hoot!), but it is amusing.

I know it is quite breathtaking to drive or even ride in a car in Naples, and people like this guy carrying an unassembled bookcase on a motorini through the traffic could help explain it!

I thought this acrylic cow sculpture in the harbor on Capri was pretty humorous,

cec,

There's a similar "Sexy Shop" sign on the outskirts of Foligno in Umbria. My husband and I crack up whenever we see it or whenever we refer to it when we're back home.

This is a photo we took on our way from Umbria to FCO to catch our flight. It's a little blurry because of the rain. The top line is the funny part.

Exercise bike chained up outside a house in Venice, of all places. I guess this is the only way to ride a bike there!

On our way to Beijing: sometime during our five hour layover (730AM to 1230PM) at Washington, Dulles, the fourth member of our party shot this. We'd left Hartford at 540AM after rising at 3AM. Don't we look excited to be on vacation? This NOT what is meant by Slow Travel...

I thought this shop was pretty funny. It's just a block or so away from the cathedral in Chartres.
