We recently bought two different travel vests that we are very happy with. One we purchased from Siegler & Co., leather with two long, interior zippered pockets and 6 exterior pockets (every shape and size). In addition, this vest has two side pockets for your hands. It is shortwaisted enough for my 5'6" husband. Sieglers still has this vest priced at $198 in their CURRENT catalog, but ironically on-line it's priced at $85 (the price we paid). Siegler's website is sieglers.com and the item# of the vest is 151635.

The second vest, from the Woolrich OUTLET Store, is a VERY shortwaisted, 100% cotton vest with loads of security pockets, every shape and size (11 total, 3 interior). I'm 5'4" and it hits right at my waist, if not slightly above it. It has a zippered front. This vest runs large and cost $30. It is extremely lightweight. Woolrich wasn't showing this vest on their website. However, they have these vests in the "backroom" of the outlet store. Hence, you have to ask for the "backroom" when you call the outlet store and then give them the item number. As of yesterday, they had about forty left. The item# for this cotton vest is 500WS. Although it's supposed to be a WOMEN'S vest . . . it doesn't look feminine at all. The phone number for the Woolrich Outlet Store is 570-769-7401.
