This week's photo is a dreamy shot of the Arno river in Florence. It is from RyanP's Italy 2005 album. Ryan submitted this album for the last slow travel contest. He hasn't been back for a while but we can still enjoy his lovely photos.

That's a beautiful photo. Fantastic sunset. I really enjoyed his entire album. The photos are nicely framed with beautiful and interesting subjects (and he also has a nice sense of humor in some of his shots).

Well, that's amazing!
I was in Florence last week on May 18th , which is my birthday; and I took a photo of that same subject, which is my favourite one out of all the ones I took on my whole trip!!!!

Wow, that is a gorgeous sunset, good choice of photo. I looked at Ryan's album a while ago but nice to look again, especially since I just booked my flight for my trip to Florence in October. (I've been drooling over my own Arno photos all week, although they are certainly not this good!)

It it time for a new photo? Maybe the category should be changed to "Photo of the Month" to lower expectations?
