Is there anywhere that will be warm and sunny in October or November that doesn’t involve a long haul flight from the UK? After the summer we had this year, I’m longing for some sun and hopefully a bit of swimming. I’ve considered Sicily, Turkey, Cyprus and the Canary islands all of which are interesting but are these our only options? I’m not up for a long flight. Even the Canaries is stretching it a bit at a 5 hour flight.

How about Morocco or Tunisia? With both you'd have beaches, but also history and a very different culture.

I am just completing a week of working my job in the Keys so it's really, really nice. Too bad I had to work!!

I'm with you on the English summer....we are heading out next week to take some nice Autumn photos (hopefully). I love the colours that Autumn brings - if not the cold mornings and dark evenings!
