Credit Cards.ca is a great little website that allows us to compare credit cards available from all of the financial institutions and from stores like Walmart and Future Shop, as well.
I had no idea that there were so many cards out there!

So, rather than calling every bank, asking the questions and then wandering from site to site comparing cards, it's all here. Very cool...I'm going to spend sometime on it and let you know if I think it has any merit. Check it out and let me know what you find that is helpful.

Too much hassle. Too much risk. Not to mention no nice statement at the end of the month to track everything.

If you pay off your bill every month then a credit card is a great invention.

I'm with you, Nick...I pay for very little with cash. Of course, I pay off those CC's at the end of every month!

No air miles with cash purchases.

I rarely pay with cash.

If the purchase is over $5.00 I use my credit card. For gas, grocery & drug stores - I use Aeroplan Gold Visa Card (you get extra miles on these purchases) and American Express Aeroplan Card for larger item purchases. I only use one of the cards for internet purchases so it is easy to keep track of. The aeroplan miles go into the same account for both of these cards.

And I got rid of all the other credit cards.

Chiaro--a good plan! I like the idea of saving a card for nothing but internet purchases. Think we will begin to do that. Thanks for the idea.
