As always, check your local PBS listings for your Rick Steves travel fix. And don't miss Sunrise Earth on your local HDTV channel, and watch a beautiful sunrise everyday from a different location around the world. It's amazingly beautiful and peaceful. In addition, you may also want to catch SunRides Earth and enjoy a slow 1 hour ride and visit some of the more beautiful parts of the world.

I just discovered that SunRise Earth now has a partner series called SunRides Earth. Also on the HD channel. The one I'm watching is a 1 hour slow drive through the Arcadia park in Maine. No soundtrack, just like Sunrise Earth.
Slow, peaceful. With a map for reference in the corner of the screen. Cool!

Linda, that sounds excellent - I'm adding it to the weekly listings, too. Thanks so much!

I learned that the drives are only in America, not a global selection like Sunrise Earth. I like the fact that they show a little map, just occasionally, and maybe an occasional little fact about something. It's got no audio track except for natural sound, like Sunrise Earth, and like Sunrise Earth, its in real time. Cool!
