Wikipedia has a good page with an overview of all keyboards. I found France to be the most difficult since it is based on AZERTY versus QWERTY. The other thing to find out is how to access the @ key. That varies between most of the keyboard and often uses the 'right alt key' or 'ALT GR" to access. After than, then it is where to find apostrophe, semicolons and colons. Does this help?

Great! I'd also note where the period and comma are located. My most recent experience was in France and the keyboard is very different. Another useful 'geeky' technique is to memorize the special ascii way to enter special characters. The tip is to use the 10-key pad and their Ascii code. It has to be a three digit code so for special characters under 100, put a 0 (zero) in front. @ = hold down the left alt key and type 064 on the 10-key pad. $ = hold down left alt key and type 036 on 10-key pad ' = hold down left alt key and type 039 on the 10-key pad. Okay... enough geekiness for this weekend.
