I've been downloading music to iTunes for my iPod, eye-yai-yai!!, for my upcoming trip, and have come across, amongst my ridiculous supply of CD's, one which really qualifies for dozing off to on the plane--for those who subscribe to that philosophy of anti-jet-lag-theory. It's a truly exquisite slack-key guitar CD: Keola Beamer--"Mauna Kea-White Mountain Journal". Ok, it's Hawaiian, not European, but hey, who cares? Beauty is beauty, non?

Just a late night thought to share. Hope you enjoy it as much as I do.

Hey, Diva! So glad you asked, as you're surely one person I was hoping to meet! You bet I'm coming to Florence. I'll be renting an Oltrarno apartment from 29 September to 11 October. I signed up for a GTG during that time, as it seems there are several ST'ers going to be there. Sounds like fun.

Glad you liked the travelogue. Would that I could have the same hair now as I had then--it's all turned to gossamer since then. Frown
