I noticed that Fodor's has posted some information about Southern hospitality, namely B&B's in Savannah, here. Thought some of the GTG group might be interested.

Hi Marcia,

Thanks so much for posting additional info. I was happy to see that the Green Palm Inn and Presidents Quarters (which we were able to tour) were in the group recommended by Fodors. Big Grin

We suggested the particular accommodations on the gathering page because they were all in the same area and within walking distance of each other. Each place was toured by us. We thought people would like that especially since not everyone will have a car.

I am glad to see that Foley House Inn and Ballastone Inn were also included on Fodors list.
They are terrific places to stay as well.

Again, thanks for contributing this additional information. Smile
Have a great day!!!

I just loved those B&B's and would like to stay at one of them I particularly liked the Foley Inn. Is the Foley Inn, or the others, in close proximity to where most of the ST's are staying?

Hi Carole,

the Foley does look lovely!

It is really ot far but not IN the little area where the recommended places are all located. Those are all in the northeastern most part of the Historic District. If you look at the Google map that Terry (teaberry) did, look at the black markers and those are all the recommended accomodations.

If you have a car there it should be absolutely no problem at all to hook up with the other STers.

So glad you are coming!

Jan, thanks for the info. I will be traveling alone with no car so I prefer to stay near the others. Under what post can I find Terry's map?
