Glad I read the date again! I was ready to mark my calendar for April 2007, and I would have been in my car; then, wandering around Savannah looking for everybody. Savannah is so close to Jacksonville I can be there in 2 hours.

As for Paula Dean....I have very successfully used her Lady and Son's peach cobbler recipe. When we drive to our home in NC in the summer, we pass many farms selling excellent peaches. The recipe is fast and easy, and most important, delicious. I do cut down on the amount of sugar she calls for in the recipe and the amount of water used to cook the peaches.

You are lucky to be so close for our very first Gathering. (me, too, but it's a little over 4 hours for me)
