Hello Everyone,

I might actually be the first one home from the Great Slow Travel Gathering as we are only 3 hours drive from Savannah!

I want to thank all of you that were able to make the gathering this weekend. It was a pleasure to meet you.

For those of you who did not have the opportunity to join us- please know that you were missed and thought of every time someone stepped in front of the webcam to share this event with you.

I raise my glass in a toast to all of you. You are truly special and it was wonderful to be a member of the planning committee.

It's not my intention to take anything away from the truly grand time everyone enjoyed in Savannah (thanks so much to all of you on the Planning Committee), but I was started to wonder Saturday evening how many times "Newnan" could be misspelled.
